Military Operation Zarb-e-Azb Continues 13 More Militants Killed

23-Jul-14. The military operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan continues successfully in North Waziristan. 13 more terrorists were killed in the fresh airstrikes of Pakistan Air Force fighter jets in the tribal area.

The latest causalities have propelled the toll of terrorists killed in the operation to 545 since its launch on June 15 while more than 100 sanctuaries have been destroyed. Most of the terrorists have been killed in Boya, Degan, Shawal, Miranshah, Mir Ali and Datta Khel areas.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Khurram Gulfam, who was elected from PP-162 Sheikhupura, has died at Service Hospital Lahore.

Khurram had an operation on July 9, after which he slipped into coma. He was elected for second time as member of Punjab Assembly.

The senior Pakistani military officials on Sunday said, " The Indian army troops killed a Pakistani civilian and wounded four others in unprovoked firing across the border in Sialkot border. “A civilian embraced martyrdom and four others were wounded when India’s Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing in Charwa and Harpal sectors overnight and today,” a senior military official told AFP.
